ABOUT AUTHOR
Mustafa BILGEN, was born in 1954 in
Sapaca village of Tortum County of Erzurum City. After Erzurum Central
Aziziye Elementary School he graduated from Erzurum Imam Hatip High School
with a degree, where he entered by examination. During his high school
years he completed French Language Course of Fono Education Institute by
Mail.
He graduated
Islamic Supreme Institute of Erzurum, with a high score where he had begun
in 1973. During his higher education he took Arabic,
tefseer (interpretation of the The Noble Qoran) and hadith (words of Prophet)
classes from the well-known madrasah (islamic faculty) scholars of Erzurum.
He prepared his graduation thesis on the book “Persian Shehname” of famous
Persian Poet, Firdewsi. He also presented a thesis on “The Tax of Tithe in
Islamic Law” for the class of Fıkh (Islamic Law). He has some essays and
articles in religious and ethic subjects publised in various newspapers and
magazines. He took part in several social and cultural activities during his
academic study.
He was assigned to
Narman Agricultural High School of Profession as teacher of Culture of
Religion and Ethics.
After completing
his military service as reserve officer in 1978-1979 he again started as a
teacher of Courses of Profession in Zonguldak Imam Hatip High School. After
working here for awhile he left and started to work self employed. He served
as honorary preacher.
He translated and
publised the famous book of Abdul-Hadi el-Arashki named "Hulasatül Beyan fi
Hakikatil Islam ve Insaniyetil Insan" as "The Truth of Islam and Human
Being" in Turkish language.
He had travels to
some Islamic and Arabic countries.
He is married with
three children
