COURAGE
Courage
is a great power of the soul that it overwhelms the feelings
which are stirred by the dangers one usually faces and surpasses
them. Another name is boldness-jur’et-.
The one who has courage
is named as “courageous”.
The reason that courageous
people continue their life freely and their preserving the
ease of their mental functions even in the most terrible
moments, is having this power. Between the courageous people
and the ones who go to excess about courage, first it is
supposed that there is no difference other than the stirring
causes but it will be seen that there are many differences
when it is considered deeply and carefully.
When they are given
an exact order by the men of justice, brave people works
by venturing the many dangers and difficulties, although
they know the value of their life, they continue their tasks
ignoring the threat of death even giving up their lives.
The ones who cast themselves
upon everything that they face-mutehevvir- are occupied
impetuously with some threats for the sake of imaginary
honor and benefits based on fears.
The greatest courage
in this world is to perform one’s legal duties properly
and not to fear of anything, to act justly and being careful
about that. The ones, who acquire as a habit to endure and
being patient against the enemy of poverty with their own
will, deserve the title of “courageous”.
The most terrible and
dreadful kind of courage is of the timid person who is in
a too forcing condition. It needs great courage going near
to such people. The best way is being far a way from them.
Because theirs is a courage which is out of conscience.(1)
