REFUSING THE APOLOGY

 To refuse the apology of a Muslim because of a mistake and fault is a bad habit and it is disgusting. Our Prophet -peace be upon him- declared: “Not to accept the apology of a Muslim brother, turns to be a sin”

 To accept the apology and forgiving the faults is one of the attributes of Allah. Allah the Most High becomes wrathful against people who don’t have this quality and punish them. There are three ways of asking pardon: Saying Why did I do it , I did it for that reason, I wish I didn’t do it or I did it but I will never do it again. Or to apologize by denial and saying I didn’t do it. Saying that I did it but I won’t do again is to repent. A Muslim waits asking for pardon to forgive somebody. A hypocrite waits the time that faults and deficiencies will be disclosed.

 In a Hadith it is said: “If you have chastity, your women will also be chaste. If you do kindness to your parents your children will also do favor to you. Who do not accept the apology of his Muslim brother will not drink from Kevser River -the river in Paradies-

 This hadith is for those who don’t have the information that their brother in religion made badness and information that the apology is lie. Because if there is not such a case to refuse apology is having suspicion to a Muslim without evidence. To accept the apology knowing that he lied is forgiveness. Forgiving is not a due but it is approved by religion. (1)
