False
reasoning is arranged to silence the rival in false claims.
Superficially they are seen as true but indeed they are
not.
This is an evil behavior
in respect of divine principles, and according to mind and
the rules of wisdom. Because this prevents the realization
of truth, justice and right.
Although the people
who apply false reasoning act wrong and unjust in daily
life in the presence of a just judge they are corrected.
The rules of education
disapprove false reasoning and using sophistry in arguing.
Imami Azam made a discussion
with one of the sophists and proved his argument, but the
man didn’t accept this and started to do fallacy with
illogical words which are unrelated to the subject. Then Imam-Azam
said: “We overcome our rivals in the boundaries of knowledge
and principles. We prove the correctness of our claim with
knowledge. Otherwise we can not silence him.” |
