FALSE DISPLAY

False display, In Arabic -tekelluf- is to have expense and suffer fatigue excessively while offering something to people in order to be approved by them.

Our Prophet-peace be upon him- declared: “I am and the pious ones of my people are a way from false display” As it is seen here Our Prophet had his people avoided from empty shows.

Great expenses prevent friendship among people. That means it becomes an obstacle for getting well with each other and sympathy among them. Because when they see the person’s inconveniences he brings himself, the people who would be friends are estranged from him and do not come closer unless it is necessary.

During conversation, with the desire of being eloquent to make shows and make the speech difficult, starting with long introduction and speaking artistically is not an approved habit either.
